酴圖弝け Eagles Club FOE 2258 will host a family friendly Thanksgiving event for the community Wednesday at the Eagles Club at 205 W. William St. There will be an auxiliary bake sale starting at 3 p.m., and turkey bingo and horse races begin at 6:30 p.m.

Night Before Thanksgiving fundraiser
Glenville American Legion Post 264 will host a Night Before Thanksgiving fundraiser supporting the Glenville Days Boosters from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Legion. Horse races will begin at 5 p.m. There will be food and drink specials with a happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. There will also be a ticket drawing during the event with cash prizes for the first three winners. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from Glenville Days Boosters members. There are a limited number of tickets available for purchase at DAE Liquor in 酴圖弝け. Tickets will be sold until 5 p.m. the night of the event with the drawing held at 7 p.m. People do not have to be present during the drawing to win.

Gobble Wobble 5k walk and fun run
The sixth annual Lake Mills Gobble Wobble 5k walk/run will be held on Thanksgiving. Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the race will start at 8 a.m. The cost to register is $15 for adults, $10 for youth and $40 for families. All registrations include a $5 token for 5 Alarm Brewing Co. There will also be a one-mile Tot Trot available to all who would prefer that option. All proceeds from the event will go towards a new batting station at the Fjelstad Leonard Youth Sports Complex. People can register by going to and clicking on the registration link.

Ellendale Holiday Hangout fundraiser
There will be a Holiday Hangout fundraiser supporting the NRHEG Elementary School inclusive playground from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the elementary school in Ellendale. This will be a shopping event with over 30 local vendors and food trucks.
