Konrad Motyka

Associate Vice President for Campus Safety and Emergency Management

Konrad Motyka serves as Associate Vice President for Campus Safety and Emergency Management at �ƹ��Ƶ, where he has dedicated more than seven years to ensuring the safety and security of students, faculty, staff and visitors across all three campuses. A United States Marine Corps veteran and federal law enforcement officer, Motyka brings a deep sense of integrity, discipline and leadership to his role, qualities that continue to shape Mercy’s culture of care and preparedness.

Adriana Rivera

Marketing Manager, Enrollment Marketing Since joining �ƹ��Ƶ’s Marketing team in 2021, Adriana Rivera has helped tell the stories that connect students, families and the broader Mercy community. Drawing on her background in advertising and nonprofit communications, she is passionate about advancing Mercy’s mission as a Hispanic-Serving Institution. Beyond her marketing work, Rivera is an award-winning author whose book Paloma’s Song for Puerto Rico: A Diary from 1898 earned a Gold Medal at the 2024 International Latino Book Awards.

Matt Kilcullen

Assistant Vice President of Athletics Matt Kilcullen has helped lead �ƹ��Ƶ Athletics through one of the most successful periods in program history during his more than 12 years at the University. Since joining Mercy in 2014 and later becoming Assistant Vice President of Athletics in 2022, he has championed a culture centered on student-athlete success, academic achievement and competitive excellence. As he prepares for retirement in June 2026, Kilcullen leaves behind a lasting legacy of leadership, mentorship and dedication to the Mercy community.

Karen Koziol

Director of Clinical Simulation, School of Nursing When nursing students at Mercy step into the simulation lab, they’re stepping into something Karen Koziol helped build — sometimes literally. As Director of Clinical Simulation, she designs the clinical scenarios, selects the equipment and creates the conditions where students can practice high-stakes skills before they ever set foot in a real patient-care setting. The result is a learning environment that’s rigorous, realistic and grounded in decades of firsthand clinical experience.

Mercy’s Office of Financial Aid is committed to helping students navigate every aspect of financing their education. The office welcomes questions at any stage of the financial aid process and works to make complex regulations understandable for students and families.

Moddie Breland

Dean of Libraries and Associate Professor Dr. Moddie Breland has been instrumental in securing significant national grants, including the American Library Association’s Building Capacity Grant and the NEA Big Read, while also spearheading campus-wide events like the Autism Awareness Month Lecture and Learning with AI forum, fostering community engagement and innovation across Mercy’s libraries.

Associate Provost for Faculty Development & Teaching Excellence With nearly 15 years at �ƹ��Ƶ, Roseanne Vallice Levy brings deep experience and leadership to her role as Associate Provost for Faculty Development & Teaching Excellence.

PACT

The Professional Advising & Coaching Team (PACT) at �ƹ��Ƶ is an award-winning mentorship program that provides students with 360° personal and academic support.

Janella Dilone

Instructor of Nursing, School of Nursing Ms. Dilone has dedicated her career to preparing the next generation of nurses, through hands-on simulation experiences and direct instruction, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and educational innovation to her teaching role.
